Smartworks adds touch of innovation with the introduction of “smart receptionist” Mitri

Reception areas are not going to be the same. At least, at Smartworks’s latest co-working space in Bengaluru.

Founder Neetish Sarda’s objective to do something out of the box for the launch of their 33,000 seater space led to the idea of having a humanoid robot as part of their day-to-day operations. The idea clicked well with the local as well as national media which was evident at the press conference on the day of the launch.

Mitri will assist vistors register themselves at the time of their arrival and also act as an assistant to the employees by noting their complaints through NLP. Apart from the contextual support, the humanoid robot, with the help of its ability to autonomously navigate, can also take people around the facility.

Mitri managed to impress the team of journalists who were at the press conference as the “she-robot” inaugurated the event and welcomed the founders of Smartwork.
