Review of Mitra robot by our top customer – HDFC Bank

Our major customer — HDFC Bank — published a great review about our product. I have copied it below.
The Bank is looking at gaining more insights from the customers on what other features they would like to see in IRA 2.0 and would accordingly plan the launch of its next phase of robots with the MITRA Team. Depending on the feedback, few more versions of IRA 2.0 could come up across the country with advanced features such as account level enquiry transactions for walk in customers, facial recognition for customers and assistance for form filling for capturing service requests.

Dear Kaundinya,

Greetings from HDFC Bank!

This testimonial comes to you as a recommendation from HDFC Bank for  MITRA robot by Invento MakerSpaces.

HDFC Bank has always been a pioneer in providing world class services and products to its customers through use of innovative solutions and upcoming technologies. In our endeavor to offer a superior customer experience and for automation of repetitive tasks in branches, we were looking at introducing a Humanoid Robotic Assistant for aid to branch staff. We launched our first robot IRA in 2017 with basic features of greeting & guiding the customers which was liked by the customers. However, we were on the look out to have an enhanced version of this robot with more capabilities such as 2 way voice communication with the customers and ability to answer queries and provide product information.

Around this time, we came across Invento Makerspaces and their MITRA robot in its earlier versions and got in touch with them to explore partnership  for launching an enhanced version of the robot IRA 2.0 at our Koramangala branch in Bangalore. HDFC Bank worked closely with the MITRA Team and they accommodated our requirements of customization of the facial features of the robot. They were also open to integration of their MITRA robot with our back end AI engine EVA for advanced Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing required to answer customer queries. The voice navigation module offered by MITRA robot was satisfactory and met our requirements of having a 2 way interaction with the customers. We launched IRA 2.0 (powered by MITRA) in Bangalore in April 2018 and have been receiving a lot of positive feedback around it. The robot has not only helped in delighting the customers but also helped in assisting the branch staff to cater to customer queries effectively.

We look forward to keep exploring more opportunities in this space with the Invento Team in future.

Regards,
